Ruroden
History with the company:
I began with the company 14 years ago, under
the original name of Sweet Computer Services. I
have had the great opportunity of holding
positions in various departments throughout the
company, which has afforded me the experience
and knowledge to aid me in my current role as
Vice President of Operations. My experience in
sales/marketing, customer service, and
administration has enabled me to fully
understand the EMS and Public Safety software industry, assists me
in the management of employees across the
various departments, and to truly value our
diverse customers.

Most memorable event since you’ve been with the
company:
In 14 years, I have so many of them that I
can’t isolate just one! However, working with so
many wonderful people over the years has been a
fantastic experience.
Most enjoyable part of your job:
Co-workers and customers; I feel fortunate
to work with such a talented group of people, as
well as wonderful customers.
Other Relevant or Interesting Information:
I have been married to my husband for 28
years, and together, we have raised two sons. I
enjoy camping, boating and gardening.

History with the
company:
I joined the Ortivus North America team on May
8, 2006. I have only been with the company a
short period of time. Everyday is a new learning
experience about the software, customers and
people I work with.
Current position:
I am currently an Inside Sales Representative
for the Southeast region.
Most
memorable event since you’ve been with the
company:
The most memorable event for me was the User
Group in Chicago. It gave me the opportunity to
chat face to face with our customers. The
five-hour car ride also gave me a chance to
learn interesting things about my new
co-workers. I am very excited to attend the User
Group in Atlanta that is scheduled for November!
Most enjoyable
part of your job:
The most enjoyable part of my job is by far the
customers and co-workers. Working for Ortivus
gives me exposure to a whole new industry. It is
an industry full of friendly caring people.
Other Relevant or
Interesting Information:
Previously I worked at Business Objects in La
Crosse, Wisconsin. I worked first in the
education/implementation group and most recently
in the inside sales group. The transition to
Ortivus has been seamless for me.
On a personal side, my husband, Shannon, and I
stay active with our three children. Marlee is
five, she is very excited to be starting
kindergarten this fall. Briggs is three and is
all boy with his love of trucks, tractors,
sports and dirt. Bryar is two and she is busy
following in her brother’s footsteps. When
Shannon and I are not chasing after the little
Duwes, we enjoy spending time together on the
golf course.
