Question: My Medicare carrier is now offering transmission of claims through a website instead of dial up.  How do I make the change to my Sweet system?

Answer: All transmission information for a Medicare carrier is easily found on the Ortivus NA website. Please access www.ortivusna.com and then click on Customer Support. Each customer will need to login with their user name and password. Login information is available at support@ortivusna.com. Once you have successfully logged in, refer to the menu on the left side of the screen and select State EDI Information. This is will load a map of the USA. Select your state and print off the Medicare ANSI 4010 Quick Facts. Submission instructions are located near the end of the documentation and explain the different connection methods available for your Medicare carrier.

Question: Can I get a report of my scheduled transports in Sweet-CAD?

Answer: Yes, through the scheduled incidents grouping within the Sweet-CAD program. Go to Edit>Incident Groups and fill out the search criteria to create the report. For all other reporting on Incidents, please use Crystal Reports. Ortivus North America Support Services has created many report templates for use in Crystal Reports which- can be found on your Sweet-CAD server in the \\Ortivus\Crystal Reports Templates folder.

Question: Why should I read the Release Notes?

Answer: The first question our customers ask about any update is, “How will this affect me? and Do I need it?” The answer to that question is in the release notes. They will tell you what fixes may have been made in Billing, Field Data or CAD, as well as any enhancements that have been made to our programs. The Release Notes will also let you know of any Form changes or Electronic filing changes that where made in any State. All of this information is important to know before you apply the update. Updating to the most current version is always recommended. The Release notes can be found in the support section of Ortivus website.
