Enhanced Integration for Sweet Version 5.2
by Charlie Barry, Director of Technology

Charlie Barry, Director of Technology

Integration between software products is a key element in achieving an efficient workflow process. As the amount of data shared between software programs increases, the amount of time spent on data entry, faxing information, cross referencing facts, looking up records, etc. decreases. Ortivus North America realizes the value of integration to our customers and has thus made it a focal point to continue to increase the level of integration offered in the Sweet software line.

The next release of Sweet Version 5.2 will contain enhanced integration between Sweet-Field Data, Sweet-CAD and Sweet-Billing that will allow for an automated integration of incident information with an ability to reconcile conflicting data elements once the incident is completed.

The automated integration of incident information is the process of blending data from Sweet-CAD and Sweet-Field Data into a single Sweet-Billing record. This is accomplished by utilizing sophisticated matching logic when the incidents are imported into Sweet-Billing, allowing the Sweet-Billing record to contain the information captured by the Call Taker, Dispatcher, and Field Personnel.

The Reconciliation Module is an interactive Graphical User Interface (GUI) which allows the user to resolve conflicting data elements, differing data for the same field, which may have existed in the data supplied by Sweet-CAD and Sweet-Field Data.

The enhanced integration amongst the Sweet software line allows you the customer to take full advantage of data collected during call taking, dispatching, transporting, and claims processing in a single location.

Sweet customers can anticipate the Sweet Version 5.2 release in early 2006.
