Q: How can I follow a vehicle on the map when it goes into a pursuit?
A: To quickly isolate a vehicle(s) on a map, for example - if the vehicles are involved in a pursuit, do the following: select the vehicles on the map or list, and then press F4 on your keyboard. A new map will open, and the vehicle(s) will be tracked on that map, so you will never lose sight of them during the pursuit.

Q: I have AVeL-CAD, but we don't have GPS in our vehicles yet - how can I quickly dispatch a vehicle to an incident?
A: If you are an AVeL-CAD client without GPS/AVL capability, you can easily select vehicles to dispatch to an incident: make sure to have a list of vehicles open and available, and then simply select the vehicle(s) on the list, drag and drop them onto any TEXT area of the incident details screen (but NOT the map). You will be prompted to confirm the assignment of that vehicle to the incident, and you can proceed with the vehicle management in the Assignment Tab of the incident screen.

Q: In AVeL-MobiCAD, is it possible to be unaware of an incoming incident ?
A: No. In most installations of AVeL-MobiCAD, the setup automatically switches you from whatever screen you were on to the incident Details screen, so that you don't have to take any action at all. There is usually also a sound to alert you that a new incident is on your screen.
