Ortivus Wins First Prestigious Pre-hospital Order in Spain
Ortivus, together with their Spanish partner, Dextro Medica, have been awarded an order from Madrid Samur to install Ortivus’ MobiMed ePR - electronic patient record system for advanced pre-hospital emergency care support.
Samur, with a total of 130 ambulances in their fleet, is the main ambulance organization responsible for pre-hospital emergency care in the city of Madrid and is internationally renowned as one of the most advanced ambulance organizations in the world.
Samur will initially equip 20 of their emergency ambulances with MobiMed ePR. By introducing MobiMed ePR, Samur takes a major step towards an entirely digitized pre-hospital decision support system where all data about the condition of the patient and treatments carried out will be digitally collected and stored.
“This is an important milestone in our growth strategy to expand the international market for MobiMed. We are happy to see that our strategy is starting to payoff in Spain and believe this project will have important effects for our further efforts both in Spain and other markets,” says Mikael Strindlund, CEO of Ortivus.
