Customer’s Preferred Provider of EMS, Public Safety and Healthcare Software
Ortivus’ vision is to be the “Customer’s Preferred Provider of integrated information and decision-making software support systems in the Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Public Safety and Healthcare industries” – an aggressive vision that Ortivus has determined for the company worldwide, and one in which they believe will be achieved. Ortivus has been shaping and positioning itself over the past several years to cover the spectrum necessary to offer EMS, Public Safety and Healthcare organizations an integrated software solution that provides the best functionality and efficiency on the market.
A few examples from 2006 which highlight quality achievements from the North American division include:
- NEMSIS Gold Certification of both Sweet-Billing and Sweet-Field Data
- Largest North American MobiMed installation; MobiMed extends ECG data from the ambulance for display to an attending physician within the emergency room of the hospital via wireless communications
- Increased industry-support initiatives, such as partnering with The Mercy Group (an EMS and Healthcare education and certification resource), more aggressive involvement in industry education (such as Condition Codes and Ambulance Fee Schedule webinars and web support)serving on industry committees (American Ambulance Association Reimbursement Committee) and efforts to promote national and state industry organizations (bringing industry leaders together in forums to promote the benefits of national and state EMS membership/activity, and broadcasting, in both live and recorded format, to EMS professionals all over the United States).
- Continued excellence in Ortivus support through short response times, accessible information in varying formats (e.g. new recorded classes for more software products), and a knowledgeable and professional team of support technicians.
