About the Company

Ortivus is a Healthcare and Public Safety IT company that offers extensive information and decision-making support systems for Healthcare, Emergency Medical Services and Public Safety in North America and Europe.

Ortivus AB was founded in 1985 in Sweden and has been listed on the O-list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange (OM Stockholmsbörsen AB) since January 1997. The Ortivus group has approximately 180 employees; subsidiaries are established in Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Canada and the United States.

The entities that form the North American division are located in Decorah, Iowa, and Montreal, Quebec. The North American subsidiary develops and markets integrated product lines to address a wide range of pre-hospital requirements: 9-1-1 call-taking, dispatching, automatic vehicle location, mobile applications, records management systems, billing and patient care reporting.

Ortivus AB, located in Stockholm, Sweden, develops, manufactures and markets patient monitoring and decision-making support systems in the area of acute cardiac disease and pre-hospital monitoring. The monitoring device, MobiMed, is the only program of its kind to transmit such data wirelessly.

The Ortivus staff is composed of highly skilled individuals with experience in software systems development for Public Safety and Emergency Medical Service solutions, Private/Public Radio Frequency (RF) interfaces, telecom, software integration, project management and customer service.
